The construction of modern, earthquake-resistant homes for survivors in Gaziantep province of Türkiye, affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake, is nearing completion. Built by the Ministry of Environment and Housing Development Administration of the Republic of Türkiye (TOKI,) many homes have already been delivered, with the rest expected by December. Residents praised the villa-like design of the homes, which are located in rural areas such as Nurdağı and İslahiye. Local leader Hilmi Güneş expressed gratitude, noting the homes’ high quality and the government’s support in rebuilding the region.
