Investigations revealed that Jabbar planted two homemade explosive devices in Bourbon Street hours before the attack, both of which were secured without detonation. Raia emphasized no connection between this incident and an unrelated Tesla explosion near Donald Trump’s Las Vegas hotel.

The attack injured 35 people, and authorities are scrutinizing Jabbar’s social media activity to understand his ISIS affiliation.
