Civil society organizations that have not been able to come together for 13 years due to the pressure from the Assad Regime and the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in Manbij in northern Syria reconvened. Stability Support Unit representatives who gathered in the city’s largest mosque, the Grand Mosque, thanked Türkiye for the liberation of the city.
“We have not been able to come together since 2011 and now we have come together again. God willing, we will come together more. We will constantly work for a better, brighter future for both our city and our country. Those working against Assad have been working for 11 years,” said Stability Support Unit member Munzir Sallalt.
