A bus carrying 47 passengers went off a road and fell into a lake in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, killing 9 passengers and injuring 22 others. “A trailer truck was coming from the opposite direction, and the bus driver tried to escape. At that point, he lost control of the bus and crashed into the lake, ” said an officer at the police control center. Following the accident, police teams were dispatched to the scene to begin rescue efforts.
