Nine Killed in Nursing Home Fire in Bosnia and Herzegovina

At least nine people were killed and 20 injured after a fire broke out at a public nursing home in Tuzla, northeastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The blaze started on the top floor housing elderly residents and was brought under control after more than an hour. The cause remains under investigation. Bosnian Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić offered condolences, calling the tragedy a moment that “has shaken the entire society.”
