North Korea successfully tested a “nuclear-capable underwater drone” that is capable of generating large-scale radioactive tsunamis and attacking enemy targets stealthily. Two weapons technologies were tested during the drill, which took place between March 21 and 23 and was overseen by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
On March 22, the army also tested two types of strategic cruise missiles, “Hwasal-1” and “Hwasal-2,” for tactical nuclear attack capability. The missiles successfully hit targets in the East Sea that were 1,500 and 1,800 kilometers away.
