The famous Notre-Dame Cathedral, which was severely damaged in a fire that broke out on April 15, 2019 in Paris, the capital of France, and was said to be reopened on December 8 this year, has been given three new bells, one of which was used in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
After the installation, the bells were tested this morning to see if they rang in tune. However, Alexandre Gougeon, who was responsible for the installation of the bells, said that the bells were not yet perfect for now but would be better.
The symbolic French cathedral was built between 1163 and 1345.
