The Cappadocia region, which is one of the important tourism centers of both the world and Türkiye thanks to its fairy chimneys, interesting rock formations, magnificent valleys, underground and aboveground rock cities, received high demand due to the Eid al-Fitr holiday. The occupancy rate in accommodation establishments in the region approached one hundred percent.
The world-famous fairy chimneys of Cappadocia have been on the UNESCO Cultural and Natural Heritage list since 1985.
