A tornado struck Russian autonomous republic of Chuvashia. The roofs of the houses were ripped off, while explosions occurred after the electricity lines were caught in the tornado. A 55-year-old person, who was waiting at the bus stop during the tornado, died as a result of a lightning strike. The tornado, which emerged with the storm reaching a speed of 100 kilometers per hour, lost its effect after a while and damaged 73 houses. Chuvashia State Emergency Committee announced that 11,500 people were left without electricity.

The Palestinian Health Ministry reported that Israel’s attacks on Gaza have killed 62,895 people and injured 158,927 since October 7, 2023. In the last 24 hours alone, 76 people were killed and 298 injured.
At aid distribution points, deaths have risen to 2,158, with nearly 16,000 wounded. The ministry also said 10 more civilians, including two children, died of starvation, bringing Gaza’s hunger-related death toll to 313.
