Türkiye’s state energy company BOTAŞ signed major LNG agreements worth 8.7 billion cubic meters with global giants BP, ENI, and Shell during the Gastech 2025 summit in Milan.
The deals cover 2026–2028, with BP supplying 4.8 bcm, ENI 1.5 bcm, and Shell 2.4 bcm. Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar said the agreements will boost supply security, diversify resources, and add flexibility during winter demand.
BOTAŞ also signed cooperation agreements with Oman LNG and PetroChina, furthering Türkiye’s ambition to become a regional gas hub.
