opposition protests covid-19 measures in kosovo with baby’s bottles

Members of the opposition Social Democratic Party in Kosovo held a demonstration due to the closure of nurseries and kindergartens as part of the government’s latest measures against Covid-19. The decision of the government was protested by placing tens of baby’s bottles on the stairs of the Prime Ministry building. Activists, who opposed the decision to close nurseries and kindergartens, claimed that children were ignored and the place of women in society was weakened with the decision. The police did not intervene the protests.
