The Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League Contact Group members held a meeting in Madrid, Spain. Following the meeting, which addressed the issues of establishing an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Palestine and cooperation towards a two-state solution, the foreign ministers of the member countries held bilateral meetings.
