A tanker truck carrying 30 cubic meters of fuel overturned and exploded on a highway in San Pedro Cholula, Puebla state. The 36-year-old driver, who lost the control of the vehicle, died in the fire. The flames rising after the explosion caused panic.
Members of Italy’s opposition Five-Star Movement (M5S) wore black, white, and green T-shirts, representing the Palestinian flag, during a parliamentary session to protest the government’s stance on Gaza. Riccardo Ricciardi criticized Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government for not recognizing the State of Palestine, despite widespread global recognition. Ricciardi accused the government of complicity in the ongoing conflict, calling it a “genocide” and condemning their support for what he described as “the greatest massacre of this century.”
