A baby who was trapped under the rubble of a collapsed building after Israel’s air attack on the Rafah city in the south of the Gaza Strip two days ago was rescued. The baby, named Meryem Abu Akel, was urgently taken to the hospital after her removal from the wreckage.
According to the Ministry of Health in Gaza, 20 people died and 55 people were injured in the air attack carried out on December 28. Akel lost his mother and one sibling in the attack, but his father and other sibling survived.
