Arrested at home with her father by Israeli forces, she endured 21 days of imprisonment. Arqoub described the torment inflicted on female inmates, including being sprayed with tear gas and receiving inadequate food.
Upon learning of her father’s release, Arqoub refuted Israeli authorities’ accusations of inciting hatred on social media. Witnessing footage of her father’s violent arrest left her deeply saddened.
Expressing the resilience and aspirations of Gazans, she emphasized their desire for freedom from Israeli occupation, aspiring for a liberated Palestine. Arqoub conveyed a collective determination among her people to pursue freedom and independence.
