Paris March Protests Violence and Discrimination on Women’s Day

Thousands protested violence against women and gender discrimination in Paris during a march for International Women’s Day on March 8th, led by women’s rights associations. The demonstrators carried banners with names and photos of victims and called for an end to discrimination against women in the workplace, as well as global condemnation of femicide. The event concluded without incident.
