A passenger bus and a car collided and began burning in the early hours of the morning in the Atoll village of Tamanrasset, Algeria. At least 34 people were killed and 12 injured. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
In 2021, 2,643 lost their lives and 11,479 injured in 7,186 road accidents in the country.
