A municipal passenger bus in Antalya lost control and collided with nine cars in front of it, injuring five people. The bus was able to stop by hitting an electricity pole on the road while the camera on the bus was recording the moment of the accident. Ambulances transported the injured to the hospital, where they were said to be in good health. The bus driver claimed that after unloading a passenger, the bus began to accelerate on its own and did not stop despite his efforts to brake.

Police teams closed the street to vehicle entrance and exit for a while. After the removal of the vehicles from the scene, the road was opened to traffic. An investigation into the accident has been initiated.
