One of the engines of the Boeing 747-400 type passenger plane, which was heading to Medina, Saudi Arabia, caught fire during takeoff at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport in Makassar, Indonesia, yesterday. The plane immediately made an emergency landing at the airport and 450 passengers and 18 crew members were evacuated safely. An investigation was launched into the cause of the incident.
