A passenger train derailed near Keisei-Takasago Station in Katsushika, Japan. Due to the accident, services were temporarily suspended on the line between Keisei-Ueno and Ichikawamama stations in Chiba province. Express train services between Keisei-Takasago and Shin-Kamagaya stations were also disrupted.

The Selimiye Mosque in Lefkoşa, Northern Cyprus, reopened for worship after major restoration work that began in 2019.
