People commemorate victims of Istanbul bomb attack

Six people were killed and 81 were injured in yesterday’s bomb attack in Istanbul’s Istiklal street, a popular shopping avenue. A memorial platform set up for the victims at the scene, where people visit and leave carnations. The local mayor Haydar Ali Yıldız condemned the attack. “We strongly condemn this heinous attack. We will bandage our wounds together. May Allah rest victims’ soul in peace,” Yldız stated after leaving flowers.
