The election marathon has started in the Hungary. In the country with a population of 9.7 million, 8.2 million voters started going to the polls to choose the new members of the country’s National Assembly. At the election, Hungarian people will choose between Viktor Orban, who has been in power for 12 years and has been criticized for his authoritarian policies, and the 6 parties joint candidate Peter Marki-Zay. After casting his vote in the Hungarian capital Budapest, Orban said that he expected a great victory and described the ballot as a choice between peace and war.
