People hit the streets in France against racism

After Marine Le Pen received 23.15 percent of the votes in the first round of the presidential election held on April 10 in France, protests were held at many points in the country by those who wanted to show that they were against the far-right candidate. Meanwhile on April 16, people in the capital city of Paris hit the streets again and protested against racism and the far-right in France. The demonstrators marched from Place de la Nation Square to Place de la Republique Square in Paris with “Neither Macron, Neither Le Pen” written banners. Apart from Paris, racism and fascism were also protested in the cities of Le Mans, Grenoble, Lyon, Nantes and Poitiers.
