People of the Tel Rifaat district, which has been under occupation by the terrorist organization PKK/YPG for 8 years, returned to their homes after the area had been recaptured by the Syrian national army.
“We returned to our homes after 8 years. The PKK had invaded here and we were staying in tents. We returned to our hometown again,” said Abu Yasin.
“The PKK invaded our village 8 years ago. Now we have returned to our village. No one can describe our happiness. We will restore Tel Rifaat to its former state and continue our lives happily,” said Abu Ahmet.
