A pigeon was rescued with a drone that was tied with rope on a power line in Lima, Peru. The police taped a small knife to the drone and flew it towards the pigeon, and cut the rope. The pigeon was freed unscathed, and it was taken to the vet.

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said it should become clear within days whether a peace deal between Ukraine and Russia is possible. Speaking in Paris after meetings with Ukrainian, European, and French officials, Rubio stressed, “If there will be no peace in Ukraine, we will continue on our path.”
Rubio emphasized that the U.S. has supported Ukraine for three years but added, “This is not our war.” He ruled out prolonged negotiations, saying the U.S. won’t pursue peace talks for “weeks and months” unless both sides show real commitment.
