A bus carrying people heading to Mecca to visit Umrah in Saudi Arabia crashed into a bridge in the Aqaba Shaar region in the city of Asir after its brake malfunctioned. Following the collision, the bus burst into flames, leaving 20 dead and 29 injured. Many ambulances and firefighters were sent to the scene, and the injured were taken to the surrounding hospitals. Local sources reported that the passengers came from Yemen.
