Pilgrim Without Legs Moves Hearts at the Kaaba

Hundreds of thousands of pilgrims have filled the Kaaba during this year’s Hajj. Saudi Arabia, which did not issue Hajj visas to children under 12, implemented strict measures including banning those without Hajj visas from entering the city. Special areas were arranged for disabled pilgrims, yet some went beyond limits to complete the rites.

One powerful moment came when a young pilgrim without legs performed the tawaf on his hands across the ground floor, refusing the upper level designated for the disabled. He was later seen climbing stairs alone to reach his wheelchair, moving many with his determination. It is believed he chose the ground floor to pray directly in front of the Kaaba.
