A firefighting plane crashed into Seyhan Dam Lake in Adana in Türkiye while battling a forest fire in Çukurova district. Both pilots were rescued alive by emergency teams. The crash, which occurred during takeoff after collecting water, was captured on video. The pilots were hospitalized as a precaution and reported to be in good condition.
A forest fire broke out near Denizgöründü village in Çanakkale’s central district around 1:30 p.m., spreading quickly due to strong winds. Teams from the Regional Directorate of Forestry are combating the flames with air and ground support.
