Turkish citizens in Basel, Switzerland organized the 23 April International Children’s Festival. Many people attended the event where supporters of the terrorist organization PKK carried out an attack. During the brawl, the PKK attackers, whose number is estimated to be close to 40, verbally insulted the Turkish citizens and then threw the iron barriers used to protect the celebration area on the citizens. Dozens of people were injured, while it was reported that some of the injured were in critical condition.

Swiss media announced that the incident was an organized attack and an investigation was launched into the incident.
