An An-24 passenger plane, carrying 49 people, crashed in the Amur region of eastern Russia after losing contact with air traffic control. Authorities confirmed that none of the passengers or crew survived. Rescue teams faced difficulty accessing the crash site due to its location on a mountainous slope. Initial reports indicate that a fire broke out during the crash. The aircraft, operated by JSC Angara Airlines, was en route from Blagoveshchensk to Tynda, with 43 passengers, including five children, and six crew members on board.
