Poland acquires first half dozen of TB2s

Turkey’s Bayraktar TB2, which proved its success in Syria, Libya, Azerbaijan and Ukraine, entered the inventory of the Polish army. Within the scope of the agreement signed between Poland and Turkey in May 2021, which includes the sale of 24 Bayraktar TB2s, the first delivery was made to Poland today. At the ceremony held at the 12th Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Base in Miroslawiec, 6 Bayraktar TB2s were received by the Polish Armed Forces. In his speech at the delivery ceremony, Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said, “Bayraktar TB2s will increase Poland’s air defense power and our army will be stronger.”
