The police pursued a van carrying 29 illegal immigrants which did not comply with the stop warning in Prague, Czechia. The van hit a tree in the Holesovice district in the center of Prague during the chase that occurred on D1 highway. Following the crash, 23 illegal immigrants from Syria were detained, while 6 others were caught in the bushes as they ran away from the scene after the crash.
The search for the van driver continues.
