The poppy flowers that bloomed again with the start of summer in the plains in the Adilcevaz district of Bitlis, Türkiye, formed dazzling view with their vibrant red color.

“I come here with my family and friends from time to time and take souvenir photos. Thirty out of 100 fields are decorated with poppy flowers,” said a local.

Poppy flowers that bloom in the summer months have been the subject of many poems, stories and folk songs in Turkish literature.
