Since Ukraine is unable to produce enough electricity to meet the current needs of the country, the demand for generators increased after the electricity crisis in Ukraine that rose after the critical damages that the Russian missiles dealt on infrastructures.

According to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, 12 million residents were left without electricity , and electricity was restored for nearly 6 million after the repairing efforts. Zelensky stated that currently, the power outage is mostly in the capital Kyiv, Odessa, Lviv, Vinnytsia and Dnipropetrovsk region.

Zelensky said, “Please, it is necessary to consume electricity sparingly in all regions, as before” and called Ukrainians for savings.

Generator needs, especially demanded by the service sector, are met from abroad. According to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmihal, about 8,500 generator sets are imported every day.
