powerful Morocco earthquake kills nearly 300

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake occurred in Morocco on Thursday at around 23.10 local time at a depth of 8 kilometers underground in the Al-Huz region. Some buildings in the surrounding cities were destroyed, causing great panic among people. Morocco’s interior ministry announced today that at least 296 people had died. Meanwhile, 153 injured people were taken to hospitals.
