With the Arafah Day approaching, key preparations for the 1445 Hijri pilgrimage are finalized. On Tarwiyah day, 85,000 Turkish pilgrims will be transported by buses on a special route organized by Diyanet. Enhanced facilities, including large air conditioning systems and convertible sponge couches, are set up to ensure comfort under 47°C heat. The Presidency of Religious Affairs has also arranged for efficient transportation and services in Arafah to avoid any issues. High tents cooled by industrial air conditioners are provided, along with efforts to meet food and water needs.

Fighting intensified last night following a Druze assault, with convoys of tribesmen advancing in vehicles. Local sources report ongoing clashes west of the city.
The Syrian Interior Ministry stated that government forces have not deployed to Sweida and remain on standard alert. However, an unnamed Israeli official said Israel has agreed to allow limited Syrian government access to the area for 48 hours due to instability.
Despite efforts by Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara to reduce tensions, the violence has escalated, with hundreds reportedly killed.
