A group of pro-Palestinian citizens in Istanbul, Turkey, blocked the way of trucks carrying goods to protest a company that was trading with Israel. A long queue of trucks formed on the road due to the action organized on social media.
Police teams were dispatched to open the road.
In Hatay, Türkiye, excavator operator Bülent Kuyucu paused work for 27 days to protect a dove’s nest on his machine. Kuyucu did not work to avoid disturbing the birds until the dove chicks safely flew away.
Kuyucu said he accepted the financial loss but was happy to see the doves leave unharmed.
