Pro-Regime Supporters Hold Rally in Iran

As anti-government protests that began on December 28 over the high cost of living continue in Iran, thousands of pro-regime supporters also took to the streets in Tehran, Isfahan, Mashhad, and Shiraz. Carrying Iranian flags and posters of Ali Khamenei, demonstrators marched toward Tehran’s Enghelab Square, chanting slogans against the United States and Israel.
