Various non-governmental organizations staged a protest in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara. They were demonstrating against the visit of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who was meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan. The protesters expressed their disapproval of Blinken and criticized Israel for its military operation in Palestine. They chanted slogans, displayed banners, and waved Palestinian flags, vowing to continue their actions until Blinken departed from Ankara.

Expatriates returning to Europe after summer holidays in Türkiye formed long queues at the Kapıkule Border Crossing, expressing sadness at leaving their homeland.
Many said they contribute to Türkiye’s economy during visits and urged citizens to value their country. “We miss our homeland terribly. Life abroad isn’t easy, so we must appreciate and protect Türkiye,” said one returnee from Germany.
