In the US state of California, dozens of protesters gathered at the port where a military ship, which the US claimed was carrying weapons to Israel, entered. Demonstrators chanting anti-Israel slogans tried to prevent the ship from moving. Demonstrators trying to climb onto the ship were prevented by ship personnel. The ship left the port after a delay of approximately 9 hours. Three people were detained.
The US’s military support for Israel, which has been targeting civilian locations such as hospitals and schools in Gaza for 29 days, continues.
