Thousands of protesters took to the streets again in Paris yesterday evening, reacting to the approval of the controversial pension reform, which has led to mass protests in France for two months, without being put to a vote in the National Assembly. Demanding the withdrawal of the reform, more than 4,000 protesters lit a huge fire in Concorde Square and set a model of French President Emmanuel Macron on fire. The protesters, who also set up barricades in the area and threw fireworks at the police, were responded to with tear gas. It was reported that 61 people were detained in the incidents.
