Russian President Vladimir Putin adviced Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to get the Sputnik V vaccine booster after the meeting in Sochi. During their chat, Putin said that his antibodies were sufficiently high to prevent him from becoming ill after spending entire day with an infected person, and he suggested that the Turkish President use the Russian-produced vaccine. Erdogan said that he had already received his booster shot.
After meeting, Erdoğan went to Sochi International Airport to head back to Turkey.

Egyptian media reports that ceasefire talks between Hamas and Israel in Gaza, mediated by Qatar and Egypt, are set to resume next week. Israel is awaiting Hamas’s response to the ceasefire offer.
