Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Saudi Arabia’s capital, Riyadh, meeting Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Yamama Palace. In his speech, Putin thanked the Prince for the invitation and suggested their next meeting be in Moscow. He highlighted the historical ties between their nations, emphasizing the significant progress in their relations over the past seven years across political, economic, and humanitarian aspects. Putin also stressed the importance of exchanging information and assessments about regional developments.
Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa arrived in Aleppo to meet with a delegation of scholars to discuss ways to strengthen the committee’s role in Syria. Later, he attended the “Aleppo is the Key to Victory” event at Aleppo Castle, honoring Syrian soldiers and families of martyrs.
In his speech, al-Shara stated, “Our war against oppressors has ended, but our war against poverty has begun,” emphasizing Aleppo’s critical economic importance in Syria’s recovery.
