Russian President Vladimir Putin set out the conditions that Ukraine must meet for a ceasefire at the meeting with the management staff of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Stating that Ukraine must withdraw from the annexed regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhia and give up its goal of joining NATO for the ceasefire agreement, Putin said that Russia would implement a permanent ceasefire if the conditions were accepted. The Russian president also emphasized that if the Kiev side does not respond positively to the ceasefire proposals, the situation on the battleground may change against Ukraine, and the conditions for re-starting negotiations will change.
