At the CSTO Summit in Astana, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized that the combined use of multiple Oreshnik ballistic missiles could rival the destructive power of nuclear weapons. Addressing leaders from CSTO member states, including Kazakhstan, Belarus, and Kyrgyzstan, Putin also discussed the Ukraine conflict and criticized Western involvement.
He accused NATO countries of direct participation by enabling Ukraine to strike Russian territories, referencing recent attacks in Bryansk and Kursk with American ATACMS and British Storm Shadow missiles. Putin warned of escalating tensions due to such actions, urging caution over the risks of further conflict escalation.
