In his annual press conference, Russian President Vladimir Putin condemned Israeli occupation, stating, “Russia condemns all Israeli occupation. You can evaluate Israel’s actions however you want.”
During the 4.5-hour conference, Putin answered 76 questions, emphasizing Russia’s economic resilience. He highlighted an 8% economic growth over two years, surpassing growth rates in the U.S. (5-6%) and the eurozone (1%). He also noted Russia’s record-low unemployment rate of 2-3%, surpassing Germany and Japan. Putin credited these achievements to Russia’s “strengthened sovereignty” but stressed the need for continued progress, remarking, “While the eurozone is asleep, other centers of world development are advancing.”
