Russian President Vladimir Putin warned the countries who provide arms support to Ukraine during a press conference held with foreign journalists at the International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in St. Petersburg.
In response to the long-range weapon support provided by Western countries to Ukraine, the Russian Leader said, “If they think that it is possible to send such weapons to the conflict zone in order to hit our territory and cause us problems, why should we not have the right to supply our weapons of the same class to regions where sensitive facilities of these countries could be attacked? Our response can be harsher.”
Additionally, referring to the influence of the USA in the war in Ukraine, Putin said, “If they want the conflicts in Ukraine to stop, they should give up their arms supply. In this case, the conflicts will end in 2-3 months,” stating that the USA should not be involved in possible negotiations with Ukraine.
