Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi met with local and foreign reporters in the capital Tehran. Raisi stated that the use of nuclear energy is Iran’s natural right in the press briefing, and said, “Nuclear energy is our most natural right. We will not give up nuclear energy, which is our right. The Zionist regime never wanted us to have access to this technology. Since nuclear science has become domestic and national in our country, no one can take it away from us.”

Asked whether he would meet with US President Joe Biden at the United Nations General Assembly meeting that will take place in September, President Raisi said, “As I have said before, I will not meet with Biden. Meeting with the President of the United States will not benefit Iran and the people.”

Referring to the nuclear negotiations with the USA, Raisi stated that they demanded a guarantee from the USA for a possible agreement.
