Zephyr, a Jurassic-era Iguanodon dinosaur fossil, will be auctioned off on October 20, at the Drouot Hotel in Paris. The fossil is expected to fetch between 400,000 and 500,000 Euros. During a press presentation, the full skeleton of the dinosaur was displayed at the Alexandre Giquello auction house.
The Iguanodon was the second dinosaur to be described scientifically in 1825 by Gideon Algernon Mantell, a British palaeontologist.
