Hacıosman Forest, a protected flooded forest in Samsun’s Çarşamba district, was recorded at close range. The forest, which consists of trees such as pointed fruit ash and plain maple and hosts a rich variety of plant and animal species on a total area of 121 hectares, is considered a rare beauty not only in Türkiye but also in the whole Europe.
“Entrance is allowed only for scientific purposes to protect the ecosystem and habitat here. Therefore, visitor entry is prohibited,” said Nature Conservation and National Parks Samsun Branch Manager Samet Yılmaz.
